Applies to the Android application DriveBox (package com.eltscode.drivebox), published by ELTSCODE. Prepared under UU No. 27 Tahun 2022 tentang Pelindungan Data Pribadi (UU PDP) and Google Play's Developer Program Policies. The short version
DriveBox has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no server of ours. It makes no network call of its own at all — the only traffic it causes comes from Google Play, for app updates and for verifying your one-time purchase. Your videos, music, dashcam recordings, GPS speed, service reminders and Kids Mode PIN are read and written on your device and never leave it. Uninstalling the app removes everything DriveBox stored.
DriveBox does not collect, transmit, or share your personal data. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no usage statistics or tracking of any kind. The app contains no analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, and no advertising SDK.
ELTSCODE ("we", "us", "our") is an independent software development team based in Indonesia and the developer of DriveBox. Because nothing is transmitted to us, there is no personal data of yours in our possession. Contact us at eltscode.dev@gmail.com.
An earlier version of the app (0.9.5) sent an anonymous install heartbeat. It was removed in version 1.0.1 and exists in no current build.
DriveBox is offline-first — playback, file management, and every other feature work with no internet connection. The app connects to the internet only to check for and download app updates and to verify purchases, both through Google Play's own libraries. DriveBox itself contacts no server, and no personal data is sent in the process.
The app reads video and audio from your USB drive or head-unit storage only to play and copy them at your command. It builds a local index of those files so that browsing stays fast. The index and the files themselves stay on your device; neither is uploaded.
Location permission is optional. It is used only to show speed and trip data in the "Car Data" menu, and to power the driving safety lock that limits interaction while the vehicle is moving. Location is read, displayed, and discarded on the device — it is never sent anywhere, and no location history is stored.
Camera and microphone permissions are optional and are used only while you have the Cameramenu open: to show the live preview from a USB or reverse camera and — when you tap Record — to save a dashcam clip. Recordings are written as MP4 files to your device's own storage and are neveruploaded or sent anywhere. You can play or delete them from the in-app "Recordings" list.
The microphone is used only to add sound to a recording you started. If you deny it, recording still works, without audio. Nothing is captured while the Camera menu is closed.
The notification permission is optional and used only to remind you about the vehicle service and tax dates that you entered. The reminders are generated on the device — there is no server and no push service involved.
DriveBox is free to use, with a one-time in-app purchase that unlocks unlimited playback. The transaction is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. DriveBox never sees or stores your card or payment details; it receives only the purchase token Google Play returns, which it caches on the device so your purchase keeps working offline.
Every permission below is optional and revocable from Android Settings. DriveBox keeps working without any of them, with the matching feature switched off.

DriveBox is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, children included. The app includes an optional Kids Mode that a parent sets up with a PIN, to restrict which folders can be opened and for how long per day. That setup — the PIN, the folder allowlist, and the daily time limit — is stored on the device only and is never transmitted.

As a data subject under UU No. 27 Tahun 2022 you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data, to withdraw consent, to object to or restrict processing, to be free from solely automated decision-making, and to seek compensation for a violation of those rights.
In practice these rights are already satisfied by the app's design: everything DriveBox holds lives on your own device, under your own control, and we hold no copy. You can inspect it, change it, or erase it at any time without asking us. If you still want to exercise a right formally, email eltscode.dev@gmail.com.
We retain nothing, because we receive nothing. Your data stays on your device for as long as you keep it there.
Because nothing leaves your device, there is no server of ours to breach and no database of user data to leak. App data is stored in Android's private app storage; recordings and media are written to your device's own storage. Traffic to Google Play for updates and billing is encrypted in transit by Google's own libraries. The protection of the files on your device ultimately depends on your device's own lock and encryption settings.
We do not sell, rent, or trade data, and we use nothing for advertising or profiling. The only third party involved is Google, in its role as the app store and payment processor: Google Play handles the update check and the purchase, under its own terms and privacy policy. DriveBox integrates no other third-party service.
If you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with UU PDP and the matter is not resolved after contacting us, you may lodge a complaint with the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital / Komdigi).
We may update this policy — most often when a new feature needs a new permission. The "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly, and for significant changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the app or the Play Store listing.

Ringkasnya
DriveBox tidak punya akun, tanpa iklan, tanpa analitik, dan tanpa server milik kami. Aplikasi ini sama sekali tidak melakukan panggilan jaringan sendiri — satu-satunya lalu lintas yang muncul berasal dari Google Play, untuk pembaruan aplikasi dan verifikasi pembelian sekali bayar Anda. Video, musik, rekaman dashcam, kecepatan GPS, pengingat servis, dan PIN Mode Anak dibaca serta ditulis di perangkat Anda dan tidak pernah keluar dari sana. Menghapus aplikasi menghapus semua yang disimpan DriveBox.
DriveBox TIDAK mengumpulkan, mengirim, atau membagikan data pribadi Anda. Tidak ada akun, tidak ada iklan, dan tidak ada statistik penggunaan maupun pelacakan dalam bentuk apa pun. Aplikasi ini tidak memuat SDK analitik, SDK laporan crash, maupun SDK iklan.

DriveBox sendiri tidak menghubungi server mana pun, dan tidak ada data pribadi yang dikirim.
Aplikasi membaca video dan audio dari USB atau penyimpanan head unit hanya untuk diputar dan disalin atas perintah Anda. Aplikasi membuat indeks lokal agar penelusuran tetap cepat. Indeks maupun file-nya tetap berada di perangkat Anda dan tidak diunggah.
Izin lokasi bersifat opsional. Lokasi hanya dipakai untuk menampilkan kecepatan dan data perjalanan di menu "Data Mobil", serta untuk kunci keselamatan berkendara yang membatasi interaksi saat kendaraan bergerak. Data lokasi dibaca, ditampilkan, lalu dibuang di perangkat — TIDAK PERNAH dikirim ke mana pun, dan tidak ada riwayat lokasi yang disimpan.
Izin kamera dan mikrofon bersifat opsional dan hanya dipakai selama menu Kamera terbuka: untuk menampilkan pratinjau langsung dari kamera USB/mundur dan — saat Anda menekan Rekam — menyimpan klip dashcam. Rekaman ditulis sebagai file MP4 ke penyimpanan perangkat Anda sendiri dan TIDAK PERNAHdiunggah atau dikirim ke mana pun. Anda dapat memutar atau menghapusnya dari daftar "Rekaman" di dalam aplikasi.
Mikrofon hanya dipakai untuk menambahkan suara pada rekaman yang Anda mulai. Bila ditolak, perekaman tetap berjalan tanpa suara. Tidak ada apa pun yang direkam saat menu Kamera tertutup.
Izin notifikasi bersifat opsional dan hanya dipakai untuk mengingatkan jadwal servis dan pajak kendaraan yang Anda masukkan sendiri. Pengingat dibuat di perangkat — tanpa server dan tanpa layanan push.
DriveBox gratis dipakai, dengan satu pembelian dalam aplikasi sekali bayar yang membuka pemutaran tanpa batas. Transaksinya sepenuhnya ditangani Google Play Billing. DriveBox tidak pernah melihat atau menyimpan data kartu/pembayaran Anda; aplikasi hanya menerima token pembelian dari Google Play, yang disimpan di perangkat agar pembelian Anda tetap berlaku saat offline.
Semua izin di bawah bersifat opsional dan bisa dicabut lewat Setelan Android. DriveBox tetap berjalan tanpa izin tersebut, dengan fitur terkait dimatikan.

DriveBox tidak ditujukan untuk anak-anak dan kami tidak dengan sengaja mengumpulkan data pribadi siapa pun, termasuk anak. Tersedia Mode Anak opsional yang disiapkan orang tua dengan PIN untuk membatasi folder yang boleh dibuka dan durasi pemakaian harian. Pengaturan itu — PIN, daftar folder, dan batas waktu — hanya disimpan di perangkat dan tidak pernah dikirim.

Sebagai subjek data menurut UU No. 27 Tahun 2022, Anda berhak mengakses, memperbaiki, menghapus, dan memindahkan data pribadi Anda, menarik persetujuan, mengajukan keberatan atau membatasi pemrosesan, terbebas dari keputusan yang sepenuhnya otomatis, serta menuntut ganti rugi atas pelanggaran hak-hak tersebut.
Dalam praktiknya hak-hak itu sudah terpenuhi lewat desain aplikasinya: semua yang dipegang DriveBox ada di perangkat Anda sendiri, dalam kendali Anda, dan kami tidak memegang salinannya. Anda bisa memeriksa, mengubah, atau menghapusnya kapan saja tanpa perlu meminta ke kami. Bila tetap ingin mengajukan permintaan secara formal, email eltscode.dev@gmail.com.
Kami tidak menyimpan apa pun, karena kami tidak menerima apa pun. Data Anda tersimpan di perangkat selama Anda menyimpannya di sana.
Karena tidak ada yang keluar dari perangkat Anda, tidak ada server kami yang bisa dibobol dan tidak ada basis data pengguna yang bisa bocor. Data aplikasi disimpan di penyimpanan privat aplikasi milik Android; rekaman dan media ditulis ke penyimpanan perangkat Anda sendiri. Lalu lintas ke Google Play untuk pembaruan dan pembelian dienkripsi saat transit oleh pustaka Google sendiri. Perlindungan file di perangkat pada akhirnya bergantung pada pengaturan kunci layar dan enkripsi perangkat Anda.
Kami tidak menjual, menyewakan, atau memperdagangkan data, dan tidak memakai apa pun untuk iklan maupun profiling. Satu-satunya pihak ketiga yang terlibat adalah Google, dalam perannya sebagai toko aplikasi dan pemroses pembayaran: Google Play menangani pengecekan pembaruan dan pembelian, tunduk pada ketentuan serta kebijakan privasinya sendiri. DriveBox tidak mengintegrasikan layanan pihak ketiga lain.
Bila Anda menilai kami tidak menangani data pribadi Anda sesuai UU PDP dan persoalannya tidak selesai setelah menghubungi kami, Anda dapat mengadu ke Kementerian Komunikasi dan Digital (Komdigi).
Kebijakan ini dapat kami perbarui — paling sering ketika ada fitur baru yang membutuhkan izin baru. Tanggal "Diperbarui" di atas akan disesuaikan, dan untuk perubahan penting kami akan berupaya wajar memberi tahu pengguna lewat aplikasi atau halaman Play Store.
