DriveBox — Join the beta
DriveBox plays video and music straight from a USB stick on your car's Android head unit — fully offline, no YouTube, no internet — with a fuel log and dashcam alongside. It runs on phones and tablets too. It is in closed testing on Google Play, and we are looking for drivers and parents to try it before launch.

Join the DriveBox testers group
Use the same Google account that is signed in to the Play Store on your phone or head unit. Joining is instant.

Become a tester
Open this link while signed in to that account and tap “Become a tester”. If it says the app is not available, either you joined the group only a minute ago, or the newest test build is still in Google’s review — try again a little later.

Install DriveBox
Install it from Google Play like any other app — on a car head unit, a phone or a tablet. Future test versions update automatically.

Take it on a drive, then tell us
Put a few songs or a film on a USB stick (or in any folder on your phone), pick that folder in DriveBox and play something. Open Google Maps — the music should keep playing. Then log one fill-up under Vehicle → Fuel (on a phone: Settings → Modules → Vehicle). Keep the app installed for at least 14 days and open it on the drives you make — that is how long Google watches a test before the app may launch. Anything wrong, from a song that won’t play to a confusing screen: send a screenshot to the email below.

Buka link ini dengan akun tadi lalu ketuk “Become a tester”. Kalau muncul tulisan aplikasi tidak tersedia, mungkin kamu baru saja bergabung ke grup, atau versi uji terbarunya masih direview Google — coba lagi sebentar lagi.

Pasang DriveBox
Pasang dari Google Play seperti aplikasi lain — di head unit mobil, HP, atau tablet. Versi uji berikutnya ter-update otomatis.

Bawa jalan, lalu kabari kami
Isi flashdisk dengan beberapa lagu atau film (atau taruh di satu folder di HP), pilih folder itu di DriveBox lalu putar. Buka Google Maps — musiknya harus tetap jalan. Setelah itu catat satu pengisian di Kendaraan → Isi Bensin (di HP: Setelan → Modul → Kendaraan). Biarkan aplikasinya terpasang minimal 14 hari dan buka setiap kali kamu berkendara — selama itulah Google mengamati masa uji sebelum aplikasi boleh rilis. Ada yang salah, dari lagu yang tidak mau jalan sampai layar yang membingungkan: kirim screenshot-nya ke email di bawah.
